Terms of Service

This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Who we are and acceptance

AudioKids is a service by Djinn Foundry (Valencia and Galicia, Spain). By creating an account or using AudioKids you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. Contact: [email protected].

The service

AudioKids generates personalized audio stories for children, adapted to their age, level and interests, from profiles created and managed by an adult. Stories are generated with artificial intelligence over a curated knowledge graph and synthesized as audio. The service requires an internet connection.

Accounts

Accounts are for adults (parents or guardians). You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and use the service only for your family. Child profiles are always created and controlled by the adult account holder.

Plans and pricing

• Free plan: 1 story per day, up to 5 minutes long, with 1 child profile. No ads and no time limit: it is free forever.
• Verne Plan: €99 per year (or the equivalent amount shown in your currency at purchase). Includes everything in the free plan, up to 20 stories per day, stories up to 20 minutes long, and up to 4 child profiles.

The applicable prices are those shown at the time of purchase. If we change a price, the change only applies from your next renewal and we will notify you beforehand. You can cancel renewal at any time; you keep the plan until the end of the period already paid.

Withdrawal right and refunds

If you purchase the Verne Plan as a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase, without giving reasons, by writing to [email protected]. We will refund the amount paid; if you used the service during that period, we may deduct a proportional part for the service already provided, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Acceptable use

• The service is for personal, family, non-commercial use.
• Do not resell, redistribute or commercially exploit generated stories.
• Do not attempt to breach the service's security or access other users' data.
• Do not use voice cloning with another person's voice without their permission.
• Do not use the service to generate unlawful content.

AI-generated content

Stories are generated with artificial intelligence over human-curated knowledge entries and pass automated quality controls. Even so, AI can make occasional errors of fact, nuance or phrasing. AudioKids is an educational complement: it does not replace formal education and is not medical, psychological or professional advice of any kind. We recommend listening along with your child, especially at younger ages.

Intellectual property

AudioKids, its brand, software and knowledge graph belong to Djinn Foundry. Stories generated for your profiles are licensed to you for personal, family use, with no time limit. The data you provide (profiles, voice sample) remains yours: you grant us only the license needed to process it and provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

Liability

We provide the service with professional diligence, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the total absence of errors in generated content. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law; nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you mandatorily.

Cancellation and termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app; deletion removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice except in cases of serious abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you act as a consumer, you additionally keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring claims before the courts of your domicile.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will publish the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email before they apply.
